A local resident close to Dunsfold Aerodrome, the famous home of the Top Gear test track, was surprised to walk by the site on her usual stroll with her dog to find it being demolished – in a major blow to the future of the now cancelled BBC favourite. She called us with her story and some quickly taken photographs, and our team were able to establish that the site had been sold off to developers – spelling the axing of the long running but controversy-hit series, and we agreed a great fee for what would become another front page story in The Sun.
